Built recently, the Carawatha Park Skate Trail is a great example of a local skate space being successfully implemented with a small budget.

Winning the 2015 WA PLA Awards of excellence major play space award as part of a larger recreation and play precinct, the Carawatha space is a fun linear skate trail with a mix of simple rails, hubbas, ledges and a pole jam.

It opened in May of 2015 and is proving a hit for kids of all ages.
