Playce was engaged to redevelop the existing play space and we have created a unique all ages unstructured activity space in the heart of the park to complement other existing play and BBQ areas. Following consultation with schools, Parkour enthusiasts and broader community, Playce focused on creating a playful hub that contains a ball court, scooter skate course, Australia’s largest bespoke parkour area, adventure play structures, flying fox, 3-point swing and 3D maze. The key to the parkour space was creating an urban setting that was playable was also a seating and fitness space. This approach ensured more flexible and usable spaces for different user groups throughout the day.
