‘Fitzy’ is a much-loved iconic skatepark that has lots of local ownership and is historically significant in the Melbourne skateboarding scene. Playce and Baseplate therefore ran an extensive consultation process to ensure all the key local skate stakeholders had a voice and could shape the redevelopment accordingly. Importantly we kept all the original bowls and added in a new street section. Built brilliantly by Grind Projects it has been a huge success with the local skate community.
