A fun sporting interactive project Playce has successfully designed and implemented is the Goanna Golf at Yarrambat Golf Course in Melbourne. We designed an Australian Wildlife themed 18-hole course and devised a range of interactive elements to make each hole unique and fun for all ages. There are animals on each hole including snake barriers, a redback spider maze, fish maze, Goanna sculptures and an ant hill hole. We called on a range of artists including Agency of Sculpture and Shlomit Moria to assist in realising our vision. We also engaged steel fabricators to build our various elements. The space is a popular addition that is attracting lots of young people to engage in golf with many now progressing into playing golf on the adjacent main golf course.
