Koolangka Koolangka Waabiny, Meaning Children Children’s playground in Whadjuk Nyoongar is an exciting regional scale playspace in the heart of East Perth.

Based upon the natural rocky landscape of WA, it is an immersive yet challenging playspace with feature bespoke Banksia sculpture play elements as the centre piece. With a large water play, flying fox, numerous swings, skate zone, pump track, parkour ropes and vaulting area and fitness elements, it is the City of Perth’s first major playspace in 80 years. A custom iconic catenary shade structure site over the space to provide shade and colour, reflecting the beauty of WA’s wildflowers.
