This large skatepark is a dynamic active hub in the heart of Miranda. It acts both as high octane skatepark whilst given its central locale also serves a critical role in being a socially inclusive open plaza for young people to enjoy. The space includes a contemporary granite paved skate plaza, multipurpose ball court, separate playspace and competition bowl area. This project is a great example of how central urban recreation spaces can be created that are both active whilst still being vibrant and attractive for people of all ages to also gather and socialise accordingly.
