Playce worked closely with City of Newcastle on an integrated skate and play space in Stockton, just north of the Newcastle CBD. Using iconic steel girders and beams, and sculptural elements, the plaza provides a central street skate spot overlooking the CBD skyline. A comprehensive play space complements the skate plaza to the west with a large central sheltered social spine, picnic areas and BBQs located between the active spaces to service both areas.
